Where is the Symposium held?
The 2010 Symposium will be held at Cityplace, in Dallas, TX. We've been in this venue for four years now and are pleased with the atmosphere and accommodations it provides our attendees.
Do you plan to offer the conference anywhere else?
We do not have any plans to hold the Symposium outside of Dallas, TX at this time.
Will there be an internet broadcast of the conference?
We are certainly considering a web broadcast of the conference, although we feel that a great deal of the impact of the conference comes from the interaction with other innovation-minded insurance professionals. There's really nothing like being at the Symposium.
Can I get continuing education credit for attending?
The 2010 Symposium will provide 8 hours of general continuing educational credits for Texas and California insurance licensees. We are also able to offer 10 hours of CPE credits for Texas licensed CPAs.
What is the dress for the conference?
Dress for the Entrepreneurial Insurance Symposium is business casual.
What hotel is the conference held at?
The 2010 Entrepreneurial Insurance Symposium is not held at a hotel. It is held at Cityplace, a conference center in Dallas, TX. All hotel arrangements are the responsibility of the registering attendee, although a discounted rate may be available.
How do I get to the conference center?
The most convenient way to access the conference center is by using the Dallas Light Rail system, which has a stop in the basement of the conference center. There is also on-site, underground parking available. Directions to the conference center are available at our Hotel / Travel information page.
I'm a member of an insurance association. Are any discounts available?
There are indeed some discounts available to insurance associations that are helping us promote the 2010 Entrepreneurial Insurance Symposium. Please check with your association to see if there is a discount available.
